Give your input today to USE-iT, FOX and REFINET online survey
 Complete the survey on technology transfer across the modes today
Within the Horizon 2020 (H2020) Programme, the European Commission has launched several initiatives to reflect on the necessary development of cross-modal transport infrastructure. A set of three European H2020 Coordination and Support Actions, namely the FOX, USE-iT and REFINET projects, have been granted to support this work. Several partners from all transport modes and with various profiles (for example, Research Providers, Industry, Transport Authority…) are actively involved in this endeavour. Several activities such as desk studies, surveys and workshops have been scheduled over the coming two years to collect information and reflect together so that a tangible European vision for cross-modal transport infrastructure with specific technology characteristics can be built in two years’ time.
To consolidate this work, we would like to consult your expertise. We would also like to give you the opportunity to contribute to the development of this European Commission-sponsored initiative. In this respect, we would like to invite you, as a first step, to respond to the first on-line survey (https://goo.gl/qlWXzR) which focuses on technology transfer across the modes. This questionnaire completes a desk study prepared by the partners. Both inputs will be discussed at a workshop scheduled on 20th January 2016 in Brussels. We would also appreciate your contribution at this workshop and more details will be provided in the next few weeks.
Other similar activities tackling other issues are also planned, including another workshop on 2nd December dealing with the technological demands of transport infrastructures. We will keep you posted on the progress of our thinking and you will be approached in due time to provide your input to this. We would appreciate receiving your input to the first survey by 20th December 2015.
