The present report is organized in 4 main parts: the first one raises the various stakes of street design; the second one presents a systemic approach to street production and locate the role of current, implicit and unchallenged street models; the third one exposes a set of design operators that may help urbanists and researchers to conceive new models of street; the fourth and last part deals with first applications of these tools: the construction of a street forms classification and the realization of a street design kinds and design models cartography.
