European Transport Research Organisations present Lyon Declaration to EC commissioner
 On Feb 17, Claude van Rooten, President of FEHRL, together with representatives of ECTRI, EURNEX and FERSI, presented the Lyon "Declaration on the Implementation of the 2020 Vision for ERA" to European Commissioner Janez Potočnik.
Mr. Potočnik thanked the organisations for their support to achieving the EC's 2020 vision for the European Research Arena and making it become a common reference for national administartions and parliaments when setting the course of national research policies.
He also thinks it is wise that the Transport Research Organisations "are looking outside Europe, particularly to cooperation with the U.S.A."
The Commissioner concluded that the Lyon Declaration shows that the organisations are "doing a great job".
