FEHRL at the Construction Technlogy Platform Conference 2009
 The annual conference of the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP) was held this week in Brussels. FEHRL played a substantial role with presentations of five projects and contributed to the initiative to create a specific Task Force on Infrastructures.
Alongside the activities of the Energy Efficient Building’s PPP launched by ECTP, the Task Force Infrastructures comprises industrial members from ENCORD together with FEHRL and ASECAP members. The major topic on adaptation to climate change attracted particular relevant as delegates contemplated the recent UK flooding events which resulted in major damage to bridges and other transport links.
FEHRL and its members play a large role in ECTP with especially strong involvement from Central and Eastern European countries. The FEHRL projects, CERTAIN, ARCHES, SPENS, Tyrosafe, DIRECT-MAT and RE-ROAD were presented in the special session on infrastructures.
