New breakthrough in OLED technology
BASF and Philips have achieved a practical breakthrough in the development of OLED technology.
They have been able to design transparent Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED) that are able to generate directive light. In combination with transparent solar cells this opens the gates to new technologies, for example in car technology. As this technology in the future might open more possibilities for both the adaptable and automated road, both elements will keep on following further developments. For more information, see
