ICWIM7: 7th International Conference on Weigh-in-Motion
 To be held in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, from November 7-10th 2016
The 7th International Conference on Weigh-In-Motion (ICWIM7) will be held in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, from November 7-10th 2016 and organised by the International Society for WIM (ISWIM). The event will be the first ICWIM in Latin America. The hosts are the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) represented by LabTrans and the National Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DNIT). A showcase for manufacturers, users and related industries will be held in conjunction with the conference.
The themes are WIM sensors, technologies and testing, systems, users’ perspectives, experience with WIM, WIM for railways and onboard weighing, standards and specifications, data quality, management and use, application of WIM to enforcement and toll-by-weight, and to infrastructure design, maintenance and assessment, WIM in ITS, traffic management and monitoring, and for road safety purposes.
