Over a period of up to seven years, the tyre/road noise and the pavement texture of low-noise road surfaces were measured on a series of up to 21 full-scale sites situated in urban areas with a speed limit of 50 km/h. The study involved a wide range of noise reducing asphalt mixtures, including semi-dense macro rough asphalt AC MR and porous asphalt PA. It has been shown that the acoustic performance decreases asymptotically as a function of traffic volume. For PA the decrease can be delayed provided the pores do not become clogged by dirt. |

The similarity algorithm calculates how much two contents in the system are similar to one another. So far, similarity is calculated based on similarity of the project type, area of interest and user type. Generally, if two contents have more parameters in common they are more similar to each another. More information.
