Calls for papers

DG Information Society have today published their fourth (2009) call for proposals with a number of objectives related to road transport.

Latvian State Roads in co-operation with Baltic Road Association organize XXVII International Baltic Road Conference with Exhibition. The Conference will be held in the International Exhibition Centre in Kipsala of Riga City from 23 to 26 August, 2009. For more information, please download the guide.

The first TYROSAFE project workshop on policies for road characteristics and influences such as skidding resistance, rolling resistance and noise emissions took place on October 22 in Portoroz, Slovenia. The workshop jointly organized by the Forum of European National Highway Research Laboratories (FEHRL) and the Russian Professional Association in Vehicle Prevention (PAIRP) will take place in Moscow on the 28^th of November, 2008. It will bring together European and Russian experts in the field of road infrastructure to work in cooperation and research activities. Russian and EU Stakeholders will use this workshop to discuss priorities research areas and identify themes suitable for international cooperation.
