 TRA2008 New Member States competition 07.01.2008

The competition for 100 sponsored places to the TRA2008 conference opens on January 15, 2008 at 12:00 (noon) GMT+1. The primary criteria will be speed of registration!

 COST call for preliminary proposals 05.01.2008

COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technical research) invites proposals for new Actions contributing to the scientific, economic, cultural or societal development of Europe. It is announced that proposals playing a precursor role for other European programmes involving young groups’ ideas are especially welcome.

The next collection date for Preliminary Proposals will be 28 March 2008, 17:00 (Brussels time).

The U.S. Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Office of International Programs has released a case study that explores the Netherlands weigh-in-motion (WIM) data management system that it uses to support a broad array of vehicle weight regulation and enforcement activities, as well as long-term planning and decision-making.

 TRB SHRP2/FEHRL NDT Symsposium (January 2008, Washington, USA) 05.10.2007
TRB’s Strategic Highway Research Program 2 (SHRP 2), is cooperating with FEHRL, in sponsoring an International Symposium on Non-Destructive Testing for Design Evaluation and Construction Inspection. The symposium is designed to gather international feedback on planning a program of research and development for non-destructive testing applied to highway renewal design and construction inspection.
